Book Summary:

Emma has tried her very best to keep her past where it belongs – in her past. Even her husband doesn’t know much about her history beyond the fact that her parents are dead and she’s estranged from her sisters.

Unfortunately, the two of them have hit a financial bump, which means leaning on Emma’s past a bit. More specifically, it means moving back into the family home. The scene of the crime is the one place Emma never wanted to return to.

My Review:

Whew! If you’re looking for a book full of twists and turns, No One Can Know is the book for you. This book had me on the edge of my seat, and it seemed like every time I was ready to make a guess, something major changed.

The characters are absolutely a highlight of this novel – the good and the bad. They’re so well-written, even the ones readers will love to hate. It made it even more challenging to suss out the truth between their lies.

No One Can Know is one of those thrillers with a layered ending. Ironically, I think I liked the original ending better. It had a more satisfying conclusion. Then again, the official ending makes you stop and think…

Highlights:

  • Mystery/Thriller
  • Secrets Upon Secrets
  • Whodunnit

Trigger Warnings:

  • Child Abuse/Domestic Abuse
  • Gaslighting
  • Community Shunning
