Over the years, I’ve seen a game bouncing back and forth between book bloggers and vloggers called On My Shelf. The core concept is pretty simple: number each book on your shelf, and then have fellow readers pick a number at random. You are then to write about that correlating book – you can write about anything related to this book – the story behind it, why you bought it, what you loved about it, etc.

All credit to Iain Broome, who I’m fairly certain is the original creator of this super fun game. Or at least the first one I saw doing this. However, I’m going to modify it slightly in my case. I’m going to use a random number generator as a way of choosing which book to write about.

Captain Marvel: Eather’s Migheiest Hero Vol. 2

I feel like it’s been a minute since this series highlighted some of my comic collection, so I’m happy for it now. (That said, please forgive the shadows; it was a very bright day, as you can tell). I have a massive shelf dedicated just to Marvel Comics (well, more than one, if we’re being honest), and most of this particular shelf is full of Captain Marvel Comics and her figures. Can you tell she’s one of my favorites?

The particular comic set highlighted is one of Marvel’s many reprint editions (you know they love reprinting). These shiny collections always tempt me, and while I can usually steer away from that temptation, it’s much more challenging when they’re for my favorites. Hence, this little stack.
