Over the years, I’ve seen a game bouncing back and forth between book bloggers and vloggers called On My Shelf. The core concept is pretty simple: number each book on your shelf, and then have fellow readers pick a number at random. You are then to write about that correlating book – you can write about anything related to this book – the story behind it, why you bought it, what you loved about it, etc.
All credit to Iain Broome, who I’m fairly certain is the original creator of this super fun game. Or at least the first one I saw doing this. However, I’m going to modify it slightly in my case. I’m going to use a random number generator as a way of choosing which book to write about.

Moon of Farellah by Brindi Quinn
This particular roll brings us to one of my favorite shelves: Brindi Quinn’s books! I have a full shelf of her books, though I’m ashamed to admit that I haven’t successfully read through everything (yet! It’s on my list!).
Naturally, the particular book that my randomizer pulled up is one such book. I had promised myself that I would read Quinn’s Heart of Farellah series this year. She’s in the middle of republishing some of her older works, so I’m torn between reading the copies I have or waiting for the new edition to come out. Decisions, decisions. Either way, I absolutely adore the color palette for these covers! It’s a bright spot of color on my shelves, and it always makes me happy to see it.
