Okay, so, full disclosure: This thread popped up on OwlCrate’s online forum, The Nest. But I thought it was a really fun prompt, so I’m putting it on my blog!
For the purposes of keeping things nice and easy, I’m going to focus only on my physical TBR. If I bring my Goodreads TBR into this mess, all hope is lost. Trust me on this one.
Talk About Your TBR
What is one book that you would suspend your entire TBR to read it if it was released RIGHT NOW?
Hrm. Interesting question! I feel like, for the most part, a lot of my TBR is made up of books I bought upon release – and I just didn’t get to them in a timely fashion. Obviously, this means that I had them at release-time, and didn’t read them. Sooo…what book would I read, right now, if it magically released (either again or for the first time)? Probably Blood Orbit, by K.R. Richardson. I love supporting smaller authors, and I still feel really bad that I haven’t gotten around to that one yet.
Number of Books on my TBR:
Not counting. Sooo not counting. That would be bad for my mental health. But I can tell you that the physical TBR is near the three digit mark, if not over.
Book on your TBR the longest:
Hard to be certain, but if I were to hazard a guess, I’d say probably Boneshaker by Cheri Priest.

Last Book I Finished on my TBR:
The Vanishing Hitch-Hiker

Next Book on My TBR:
The Legacy of Yangchen

Latest TBR Addition:
My BOTM order just arrived, so Gone Tonight, None of This is True, Vampires of El Norte, Family Lore, and Just Another Missing Person.

The Book(s) I’m Most Hyped For on my TBR:
System Collapse and Godly Heathens.

Most Popular Genre on my TBR:
Fantasy. I read a ton of fantasy, and thus most of my impulse buys (thus relegated to the TBR stack) are fantasy.
Prettiest Cover on my TBR:
Easy! Fourth Wing. I impulsively pre-ordered this one, and thus got my hands on the coveted sprayed edges. Unfortunately, I haven’t exactly sat down to read it yet (at this point I’m terrified that the hype will let me down).
