Wait – you’re telling me there’s a short story from the perspective of Jack Wolcott? How are Wayward Children fans not talking about this more? Realistically, I know they are – I just need to make more of my friends read the series, clearly.

In Mercy, Rain is the story of Jack Wolcott. She and her twin walked through a door to a different world known as the Moors. While most people would describe this world as a world of horrors, it was home to Jack.

Well, it was home. When we meet Jack in the series, she has long since lost that world. This is the story of her time there, filling in the gaps and showing us how she came to so perfectly fit in a world that most of us would run from.
