From the Cup is a new series I’ve started, loosely inspired by other reading and posting challenges I’ve seen around. The goal is to pull a tag from my giant TBR cup (shown above), thus allowing me to slowly whittle it down. In theory.

The rules are simple:

  1. Draw one tag from the TBR cup. No take-backs, no swapping.
  2. Read the selected book.
  3. That’s it!

Obviously I fully intend to review every book I draw. The real goal is to get through my TBR pile – while makings things a bit more fun!

Without further ado, let’s begin! Here are my first few draws:

    Best of luck! I’m so picky with my reads I don’t know if I’d be able to pull something like this off. The King in Cobwebs looks really good!

      Thanks! I don’t think I’ll use it to decide 100% of my reads. I’ll probably just use it when I’m in that “I have no idea what to read next” mood.

        I totally understand. Halloween time I have to be super choosy, but outside of that I tend to fly by the seat of my pants on reads.
