The Future of Another Timeline by Annalee Newitz blends feminist fiction, punk rock, time travel, and LGBT+ rights into one intense and condensed novel. Admittedly, this novel covers some heavy themes and is similar to The Handmaid’s Tale (until you hit the time-traveling bits). But it’s a worthwhile read for a variety of reasons. Read more
