I am SO glad that I waited for OwlCrate's copy of Hotel Magnifique! This book has gotten so many amazing covers, but I legit think this one is my favorite. Plus, the hardcover glows in the dark! That's a first (for me).Look at all the lovely items that came with April's OwlCrate box. I have always been a sucker for bookish household items, and this box had not one but TWO items. Plus some coffee and other cute items. I'm thrilled!Happy book birthday Brindi Quinn! Come True is officially available to all readers today, and I am so proud! If you love charming fantasy romance novels, please please please pick up Come True: A Bomb-Ass Genie Romance!Come True: A Bomb-Ass Genie RomanceMy name is Cat, and I have a problem. I hoard booksleeves, even though I have more than enough. I certainly don't travel enough to warrant the number I have...and yet I can't pass them up!For a while now I've been hoarding my bookish stickers with no real idea what I wanted to do with them. My laptop and kindle are covered, so that idea wasn't going to work. So last week I went and collected all my stickers, got some magnetic tape, and turned them into magnets! I'm pretty happy with the results, if I may say so.Goodreads

Review: The Iron King by Julie Kagawa
Yet another read that I am long overdue for! The Iron King is the first novel in Julie Kagawa’s oft talked about Iron Fey series. With a new addition to the series on the way, now seemed like a good time to finally dive on in. Continue reading

Review: Late Eclipses by Seanan McGuire
Late Eclipses is the fourth novel in the October Daye series by Seanan McGuire. And have I mentioned how sad I am that I’m only really digging into the series now? Oh well, better late than never, right? Continue reading
Review: A Killing Frost by Seanan McGuire
As hard as this may be to believe, we are now fourteen books (and at least twice that many short stories) into the October Daye Series. A Killing Frost is the latest novel in this series by Seanan McGuire, and it is absolutely worth the wait. Continue reading

Review: Shatter the Earth by Karen Chance
Shatter the Earth is the tenth novel in the Cassie Palmer series by Karen Chance, and this is a series still going strong. It’s admittedly one of my favorite series, so you’ll have to forgive my slight bias in recommending it so much! Continue reading

Review: Night and Silence (October Daye #12) by Seanan McGuire
Night and Silence is the twelveth novel in the October Daye series by Seanan McGuire. And our girl is still getting herself into a whole new world of trouble. It’s both impressive and terrifying. But at least it makes for a good story for us all to read. Continue reading

Review: The Brightest Fell (October Daye #11) by Seanan McGuire
The Brightest Fell is the eleventh novel in the October Daye series, and at this point, we’re all amazed that Toby hasn’t found a way to kill herself yet. Not that we’re complaining! It’s just that Toby seems to have a particular talent for getting herself into some of the most intense messes possible. Continue reading

Review: A Red-Rose Chain (October Daye #9) by Seanan McGuire
This novel brings the Kingdom of Silences into focus. They’re the neighboring Kingdom, and have never looked kindly on changelings or humans. Nor do they seem pleased about the change in rulership, if their declaration of war is anything to go by. Continue reading

Review: Chimes at Midnight (October Daye #7) by Seanan McGuire
Chimes at Midnight is the seventh novel in the October Daye series by Seanan McGuire, and let me tell you; it’s still going strong. This novel brings several subplots full circle, while introducing even more chaos and danger. Which is pretty on par for Toby, all things considered. Continue reading
