Review: Victor and Nora: A Gotham Love Story
Victor and Nora: A Gotham Love Story is exactly what it sounds like, a love story about Victor Fries (aka Mr. Freeze), and his beloved, Nora Kumar. Written by Lauren Myracle and illustrated by Isaac Goodhart, this graphic novel is the newest addition to DC’s young adult graphic novel line. Continue reading

Review: Wonder Woman, Volume 8: Dark Gods
Wonder Woman, Volume 8: Dark Gods follows the events of Dark Nights: Metal, and that means that things have gotten a fair bit darker in the world. How could it not, when every hero and heroine knows exactly what is aiming to break into the world they’ve sworn to protect? Continue reading

Review: The Old Guard, Book One: Opening Fire
The Old Guard has recently been getting a lot of attention, thanks to the Netflix adaptation that recently came out. I’ll confess that is the reason it caught my attention, and why I saw down to read it. Written by Greg Rucka, and illustrated by Landro Fernandez, this is a graphic comic series that focuses on a small group of (mostly) immortal beings. Continue reading

Review: The Shadow Threat (House Of El #1)
The Shadow Threat (House of El #1) is the tale of Krypton, before everything went so horribly wrong. Written by Claudia Gray (the detail that caught my attention to begin with) and illustrated by Eric Zawadski, this is a fascinating tale that shows a darker side of Krypton. Continue reading

Review: Stranger Things: Zombie Boys
Zombie Boys is set after the events of the first season. Meaning, after Will went missing, and was later found. If you watched the show, then you’re probably already getting an idea of where this is going to lead. The title helps give that idea. Continue reading

Review: Spider-Man/Deadpool Vol. 7: My Two Dads
Yay! It’s more Spider-Man and Deadpool – one of my favorite team-ups out there. They’re arguably the quirkiest out there, and their adventures have steadily been getting more outlandish with time. Spider-Man/Deadpool Vol. 7: My Two Dads is no exception to that rule. Continue reading
