Today I want to take a minute to appreciate my reading buddy. She may not read books, but she sure keeps my feet warm when I tuck in with a good book ❤Today I'm finally going to sit down and read Lore! What books has everyone been meaning to read, but haven't gotten around to?Some of my favorite Marvel characters! Sadly (or not, depending on how you look at it!), this is far from being my whole collection. How have I not read this series before now? InCryptid combines all of my favorite things: lore, creatures from mythology, and Seanan McGuire's writing. Seriously, what more could I have asked for?Book mail time! My copy of Curse of the Divine arrived! I legit can't wait to sit down and start reading!I recently backed two bookish kickstarters, and I was lucky enough to have both arrive at the same time! I absolutely adore both sets of pins, plus that print! ❤❤❤ (before you ask, I ordered toe four Gideon pins I'm missing from this set - they'll be gleefully added to the collection when they arrive!)Goodreads

Blog Tour & Review: The Emperor’s Wolves by Michelle Sagara
The Emperor’s Wolves, by Michelle Sagara, is the first novel in the Wolves of Elantra series. However, fans of Sagara will certainly recognize the world and characters within. This series is a direct spin-off of the Chronicles of Elantra series, and focuses on one of my favorite characters of all time. Continue reading

Review: Alien: Echo by Mira Grant
Alien: Echo is the first novel in the world of Aliens. At least, that I’m aware of. It’s also a young adult novel, making it a unique blend. It’s the first novel in a series of the same name (makes it easier to remember), and it was an absolute blast to read. Continue reading
Review: Into the Drowning Deep (Rolling in the Deep #1) by Mira Grant
Into the Drowning Deep is the second book in the Rolling in the Deep series by Mira Grant. I know sometimes you can skip the novella that comes before a novel, but trust me: don’t do that here. If you haven’t read Rolling in the Deep, go read that before you start Into the Drowning Deep. It’ll have so much more impact if you do. Continue reading
Review: Kingdom of Needle and Bone by Mira Grant
Kingdom of Needle and Bone is Mira Grant’s (AKA Seanan McGuire) latest novella, and it is not for the faint of heart. Seriously, I was about eighty percent of the way through this novella when I realized I have compulsively sanitized my hands more than six times while reading. Continue reading
Review: In the Shadows of Spindrift House by Mira Grant
In the Shadows of Spindrift House is the latest novella from Mira Grant (AKA Seanan McGuire). It’s heavily influenced by Lovecraftian lore, so if you’re a fan of that tone and style of writing, then you’re surely going to love this one. Continue reading
Review: Parasite by Mira Grant
Parasite is the first novel in the Parasitology series by Mira Grant. You may also know her as Seanan McGuire, as Mira Grant is simply a pennames she uses for her science fiction works. Continue reading
