I'll admit that I don't subscribe to as many book boxes as I would like. However, the two that I am subscribed to (OwlCrate and BOTM) have always treated me well. And that's enough for me.I've never seen a silicone popcorn holder before this month! It's cute, though I'm not sure I'm going to end up using it for popcorn. Instead, it'll probably be relegated towards holding bookish odds and ends in my library.I may have a slight hoard of wax seals - and I really need some good excuses to use them. However, I'm never going to complain when a new seal is added to my collection! Hence why I was so excited to find this cutie in April's OwlCrate box.Over the years I've worked hard to create a comfortable desk with a style I can enjoy. Bookish mousepads are already a nice addition!I am SO glad that I waited for OwlCrate's copy of Hotel Magnifique! This book has gotten so many amazing covers, but I legit think this one is my favorite. Plus, the hardcover glows in the dark! That's a first (for me).Look at all the lovely items that came with April's OwlCrate box. I have always been a sucker for bookish household items, and this box had not one but TWO items. Plus some coffee and other cute items. I'm thrilled!Goodreads

Review: The Haunting of Beatrix Greene: Vol. 1
The Haunting of Beatrix Greene Vol. 1 is a series on Serial Box that is absolutely perfect to dive into this spooky season (in case it wasn’t obvious, I read this right around Halloween). Continue reading
Review: Marvel’s Black Widow: Bad Blood
Marvel’s Black Widow: Bad Blood is the third (but thankfully, not final!) Marvel series to hit Serial Box. I’m not ashamed to admit that I squealed a little bit when this series was announced, as I just knew that this format would do justice to her character. Continue reading

Review: The Way Out (Warhammer Horror)
The Way Out is an audio drama from Black Library (Games Workshop) and was part of last years Digital Horror Week. Something that I didn’t know existed, but that I really hope happens again this year so I can follow it! Continue reading

Review: Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor Adventures Vol. 1
Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor Adventures Vol. 1 is a collection of three short story adventures from my favorite Doctor. Oh! And did I mention that they are in audiobook format? With the original cast lending their voices to make the adventure all the better. Yes, please! Continue reading
Review: Doctor Aphra
Doctor Aphra is an Audible Original (I believe), and the first audiobook adventure for a Star Wars character that I am mildly obsessed with. It is basically her origin story all over again, so fans from the comics will find a lot of the details and storyline to be familiar. Continue reading
Review: Walk Among Us
Walk Among Us is a collection of three short stories based in the world of Vampire: The Masquerade. Since that is a roleplaying game I love/d, I’m thrilled to see the world being brought back to life here. Continue reading

Set in the far-flung future, this is a world that has been once again torn apart by war. Technology has allowed humanity to limp along, though the world is much changed. Shining Smith survived the latest war, and has created a little home for herself out in the middle of nowhere. Continue reading
