Review: Assassin’s Creed: The Magus Conspiracy by Kate Heartfield
So, I’m going to start this review with a touch of honesty: I’ve never played any Assassin’s Creed games. I’ve never even watched anybody play them. However! I adore Kate Heartfield, so I wanted to take the risk and try The Magus Conspiracy because I couldn’t resist. Review: The Last Raven by Steve McHugh

It reminds me of a series I read and loved as a kid, though with significantly fewer problems. Consider me hooked. Continue reading

Review: Shadowplay by Terry Mancour and Emily Burch Harris
Shadowplay is the first novel in Terry Mancour and Emily Burch Harris’ Spellmonger: Legacy and Secrets series. Now, admittedly I hadn’t read the rest of the Spellmonger series before diving into this spin-off series, so it is awe-inspiring that I had no trouble following along. I will have to add the original series to my TBR list. Continue reading
