I'll admit that I don't subscribe to as many book boxes as I would like. However, the two that I am subscribed to (OwlCrate and BOTM) have always treated me well. And that's enough for me.I've never seen a silicone popcorn holder before this month! It's cute, though I'm not sure I'm going to end up using it for popcorn. Instead, it'll probably be relegated towards holding bookish odds and ends in my library.I may have a slight hoard of wax seals - and I really need some good excuses to use them. However, I'm never going to complain when a new seal is added to my collection! Hence why I was so excited to find this cutie in April's OwlCrate box.Over the years I've worked hard to create a comfortable desk with a style I can enjoy. Bookish mousepads are already a nice addition!I am SO glad that I waited for OwlCrate's copy of Hotel Magnifique! This book has gotten so many amazing covers, but I legit think this one is my favorite. Plus, the hardcover glows in the dark! That's a first (for me).Look at all the lovely items that came with April's OwlCrate box. I have always been a sucker for bookish household items, and this box had not one but TWO items. Plus some coffee and other cute items. I'm thrilled!Goodreads

Review: Burn Bright by Patricia Briggs
One of my goals in 2021 is to finally get caught up/read many of the series I’ve been meaning to for years. What better place to start, than getting caught up in Patricia Briggs’ Alpha & Omega series? (I’m up to date with Mercy Thompson). Continue reading
Review: The Library of the Unwritten by A.J. Hackwith
A.J. Hackwith’s novel, The Library of the Unwritten, is the first in a new series called Hell’s Library. I immediately knew that this was a novel I had to read – as it revolves around well, unwritten books! Continue reading
Review: Million Dollar Demon by Kim Harrison
How is it that we’re fifteen novels into The Hollows series? It’s hard to believe that there have been so many, and yet I’m already looking forward to whatever comes next! Million Dollar Demon, by Kim Harrison, is not a novel to miss for fans of Rachel Morgan and all of the chaos she brings with her. Continue reading

Review: Salvaged by Madeleine Roux
Madeleine Roux’s Salvaged is the ideal example of a dark science fiction novel. It hits all the right tones, while being disturbing and graphic and oh so enthralling. Continue reading
Review: Day Shift by Charlaine Harris
Day Shift is the second novel in Charlaine Harris’ Midnight, Texas series. And it does not disappoint. Midnight, Texas is a strange place – the sort of place that collects misfit people with strange histories and powers. Continue reading
Review: Silence Fallen (Mercy Thompson #10) by Patricia Briggs
Silence Fallen is the tenth novel in the Mercy Thompson series. It feels crazy that there are so many books in the series so far. Especially considering how most of us still can’t seem to get enough! I for one hope the series continues for a long time yet. Continue reading
