My BOTM box arrived! This month I picked The Hunting Wives, When the Stars Go Dark, and Arsenic and Adobo! Now I just have to decide which one to read first...The last couple of days have been good for book mail! My copy of Rule of Wolves arrived (eee!), as well as the preorder goodies for it! As an added bonus, a signed bookplate from Anne Bishop also arrived, so I am a happy nerd over here. ❤March was a pretty good reading month for me! I doubt I'll do as well in April - I have a lot of gardening to get done!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐On Thursdays we read purple. But no, seriously I think that some of my purple covered books are my favorites.Goodreads

52 Weeks of Literary Crafts: Harry Potter Wands
Harry Potter Wands. If you’ve spent any time on Pinterest then you’ve probably seen the basic theory in how to make these. Those tutorials will be way more comprehensive than mine ever could be (partially because I didn’t bother to … Continue reading
52 Weeks of Literary Crafts: Gryffindor Arm Warmers
Believe it or not, this is not part of the gift set I’ve been making for my Gryffindor friends that are expecting. Apparently I know a lot of Gryffindors, because this set was a Christmas gift for a completely different … Continue reading
52 Weeks of Literary Crafts: Gryffindor Baby Hat Set
As I’ve mentioned before, a couple of close friends of mine are having a baby soon (actually, by the time I finally share this post they might have already had him) and since they’re both Gryffindors I’m helping to prepare … Continue reading
52 Weeks of Literary Crafts: Hogwarts House Teddy Bear Scarves
Getting sick of Harry Potter crafts yet? I hope not! Because I’m not even close to done! Seriously, I have so many more ideas. The house colors make for a lot of easy planning and creative uses. This week I … Continue reading
52 Weeks of Literary Crafts: Snitch Lovey
So this project actually started out as something different, but I ended up changing it on a whim. Originally it was just a plain gold and red lovey, but I thought it looked too simple, so I looked up a … Continue reading
52 Weeks of Literary Crafts: Snitch Baby Booties
After the success of my last attempt with making Gryffindor inspired baby booties, I came up with another (adorable) idea for baby booties. Snitches! I mean, why not, right? I already knew how to make the booties, and better yet, … Continue reading
52 Weeks of Literary Crafts: Red and Gold Baby Booties
Is this another Harry Potter knitting project? Yep! It is! Two of my best friends recently told me they were having a baby, and since they’re both proud Gryffindors I wanted to knit them a whole set of Gryffindor baby … Continue reading
