The Quotable Giant Days is a graphic novel perfect for anyone who finds themselves missing the series. I personally fall into that party, and thus found this collection of quotes to be little moments of sweet memories.

To be clear, this really is a collection of quotes, as the title promises. There’s no new content, and many of the quotes are out of context. So it’s not exactly ideal for new fans – but for fans that followed the whole series? This is perfection.

Esther, Susan, and Daisy are some of my favorite characters in the world of comics, and I’ve been lamenting their series end for a few months now. In a way, that made this volume bittersweet. It also made me want to go back and reread the series (again), so it is nice for more than one reason.

It’s worth mentioning that the quotes put into this are pure gold. We’re talking the best of the best, the funniest moments found throughout the series. So yeah, it’s totally worth the read. It’s sure to bring about some (much needed) laughter.
