I received a copy of Batman: 100 Greatest Moments: Highlights from the History of the Dark Knight through NetGalley in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Batman: 100 Greatest Moments is exactly what you’d expect and hope for. This amazing book collects the 100 best moments in the beloved and sometimes controversial Batman we all know and love.

Saying that they’re going to collect the top 100 moments is quite a lofty goal, but I would say that they more than kept their promise here. I loved reading through this selection, and for a variety of reasons.

Batman: 100 Greatest Moments includes everything from the original origin story of Batman to some of the more modern-day plot arcs. Honestly, it was quite refreshing seeing some of the older plots once again, and of course the newer ones as well.

What I really loved about this collection is the way each moment is presented. There’s the obvious, of course. Listing everything out, and even including the images. But the book goes a step further – including as many pages as feels right, and even provides a few paragraphs of description and context. It’s perfect.
