This week’s project was pretty straight forward. I wanted to make a Hufflepuff hat for a friend of mine. I recently learned how to make hats on a knitting loom, and man can they go quickly on that thing!
I didn’t use any official pattern, instead just going with an idea that felt right.
The first ten rows are single strand, all yellow yarn. That’s the portion I use to make the rim of the hat, so it gets folded half and knitted back around.
From then on I just alternated the colors between black and yellow, doing five rows per color.
